Nimiety's Charts
Funny, isn't it? You could write a million letters saying how black is white (and get people killed at the next zebra crossing) and not hear a complaint or even a peep, but call someone dumb or imply it by graphing two people side by side on a chart, and watch out!
A person's IQ represents their ability to think and to reason, relative to another's.
One's intelligence is one's capacity to make abstractions and to learn.
IQ tests are designed with the purpose of quantifying these capacities, measuring abilities in verbal, non-verbal, mathematical and reasoning examples.
Of course, this doesn't have a lot to do with programming and such, but we still think it's really neat.
This intelligence chart measures the expected potential of someone who's IQ calls within the given ranges.
It is not a guarantee of success, as there are many "geniuses" that have neither the drive nor capability to be a business leader, and many "morons" that have contributed to society and changed the way people think.
It is, however, a chart that shows the rough relative intelligence and expectations of IQ and roles.
